Courage of the Spirit
The JourneyMy Journey is filled with ups and downs.
Sometimes the downs are too exhausting
and
never stopping,
and the ups so high I do not want to come down.
So how do I cope with the journey of life.
I have you to thank for watching over me.
You have been "YOU" and that's exactly what I have
needed to get me through.
You have listened to me ramble
and
slowed my thoughts down.
You have seen me cry
and
heard the pain I have tired to hide.
We have laughed and smiled at what life is about,
along with our
discussions so many do not understand.
So we will go our separate ways
at times always knowing the
other is not too far away.
We will always know
and
understand where our journey will
take us and share in every detail of the how and why.
We will continue our closeness
and
come back together
when the time is right and our journey will move
along, for together we make everything happen.
The support we give each other
is irreplaceable by any other.
Each step we take moves us closer to the end result,
with ups and downs,
highs and lows along the way.
Here's to the failures and success,
each one as important as
the other.
Where our journey ends is anyone's guess,
knowing that I have
you by my side allows me to believe
everything is achievable,
together and apart!
