Courage of the Spirit

Mask
Behind the mask you hide
No worries through life
you abide.
"I do not care!" I hear you say.
To myself I think that
will be the day.
Patiently I wait for the
mask to fall.
As you remain standing tall.
Looking into your eyes I see
the pain and fear you try to hide.
Yet wearing the mask through
life you ride.
As each moment passes I see
the mask begin to crack.
And know that soon the real
you will be back.
Let go off the fear and pain.
Through this your life will
reign.
Freedom is yours to hold
forever bright and bold.
Welcome back! I say
Your mask gone forever in a day.
Crystal clear your face does
shine
Clarity and caring as your
life falls into line.
Embrace life without your mask
as in your true light
we bask.
