Courage of the Spirit
ForgivenessAs I go within my heart
I see the darkness I have tried
to hide.
As I go within my mind I hear
the harsh words
which have been said.
When sorry was said I forgave each
of you except for me.
Back into my heart I go
deep into the dark.
Guilt, shame, blame and unforgiveness
I find.
Breathing deeply in and out I
release this darkness and forgiveness for
me i have found.
Peace washes over me and light
shines within.
My heart is filled with love again
so healing shall begin.
My mind is completely in the now
with an abundance of stillness
that is me.
So forgiveness for me i have found.
The past has gone and it is only now.
Quietness, peace, happiness and love
with total forgiveness is my path.
As the light from the universe guides
me along the way.
