Courage of the Spirit
What could have been.
Darkness all around surrounds me
Lost and vulnerable I feel
Many tears i have cried and tried to hide.
For without you a life i cannot see.
Why did you say you love me and then leave?
Peace is all we wanted.
Many nights i lay awake wondering why?
You know it can all still be.
Frusturations and challenges each day we found.
It was all so simple, in our plan.
All we had to do was talk.
Accusations flew and pain we still found.
You have tired to hurt me now.
Saying you are moving on without me.
Strength within me i have
This you taught me and the how.
So move on if you choose.
Go within your heart first and know the truth.
Ask yourself are you really happy where you are?
The answer is NO, so what do you have to loose?
Search everywhere you go to fall in love again.
Love, peace and understanding is what you want.
This you know i give you and much more.
You know we could always start again.
The love and belief in you I have will never go.
It may have changed for you though.
Each day we grow and learn
Isn't that what life is all about.
So move on if you must.
I stand tall and believe in me.
And will always remember what could have been.
Just know you will always have me, just trust!
