Courage of the Spirit
The light I have found.
Up the hill i climbed in search of peace.
Sitting there the sun warmed body.
Tears have flowed from the pain deep within.
My heart felt broken in two
Where do i go from here.
Down i walk and see the trees blowing in the wind.
Birds fly by chirping to each other without a care.
Then i realise there is much that i have missed,
As watching my destination was on my mind.
The time has come to sit again and rest for awhile.
Mother Earth embraces me with love in her heart.
I close my eyes and allow my body to relax
and then i see it is light that i have found.
The darkness from within slow disappears
Vulnerability and fear move on.
For it is light within my heart i choose to see.
The dark feelings i let go as night is a glow.
Sitting alone i now feel completely supported
it is the light i know.
A gentle wind begins to blow unconditional love
all around
So home i have found
It was with me all along.
Each step i take is filled with happiness, peace
and love.
In the now i choose to be for nothing is to fear.
Mistakes i now change to takes,
and misunderstanding become understanding.
In light i live my life, peace, success and love.
Fly now i hear you say, for freedom is yours.
"Allow it to be!" you say again and again
this time i understand as i begin again.
Self acceptance and belief are mine
thank you for your time.
The moon and stars light my way
as again i feel the need to stay.
Surround each thought with love and belief
and know that there is never darkness
only light.
