Courage of the Spirit
The Smile upon your face.
We spend such little time together,
yet the love never dies.
Each time we see each other
your smile lights up your face.
My heart yearns to have you by my side
So each night i close my eyes
and
see the smile upon your face.
Although I know that we are never truly
apart.
It is your smile i miss the most.
My children you will always be
as older we each grow
Never lose that smile upon your face.
It brightens your eyes and my heart fills with joy.
Life is filled with challenges
and
through them all i just ask
"Please do not lose that smile upon your face!"
Together we laugh and cry,
it is love and understanding that we share.
Each morning when you rise,
go to your mirror and smile.
Say "I love you with all my heart!"
and see what a beautiful sight it is.

journey
